Mohammed Hashem is an award winning Australian national, Egyptian director of theatre and films and international media and communications speaker. He has been in the industry in Australia since 1990 after falling in love with media from a young age from his mother who was a broadcaster. He has been producing and directing plays in Australia, France and Spain and for the past nine years in Cairo, Egypt. He has made some very interesting work that has had much media attention internationally. He also teaches filmmaking and storytelling, voice coaching for speakers at the American University in Cairo and the British University respectively and continues to collaborate with international journalists and filmmakers on new and exciting projects.
